Very unique cake! Looks scrumptious. 🙂 Hey, making your own cake can be a good thing. At least you KNOW the cake will taste fantastic and not blah like a store bought one. 🙂

True 🙂 It wasn’t so much a choice between bought or made though, as made or nothing. DB doesn’t approve of cake much… and specially not when it involves late night baking 😉

I don’t think it’s a major food group, I don’t even need cake every week, I just think it’s an essential part of a birthday 🙂 Birthdays without cake aren’t really birthdays…. Without wanting to be mean about your figure, I think that’s what he’s scared of..
